The price includes the WSET Level 3 Study Pack, tuition, printed materials, exam, certificate and lapel pin (if you pass the examination). Our superb educators will assist you to develop your analytic tasting abilities through a carefully selected series of 70+ wine samples.

For all WSET qualifications, we use RIEDEL tasting glasses. It is recommended that you hold the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines or can demonstrate the equivalent level of knowledge.

What you’ll learn

You will learn the key factors in the production of wine: location, grape growing, winemaking, maturation and bottling.  You will understand how these key factors influence the key characteristics of the principal still, sparkling and fortified wines of the world. Using the WSET Level 3 Systematic Approach to Tasting Wine® (SAT).

Course Structure

Five consecutive days from 9:00am – 5:00pm. Test will be on the last day (Day 6) at 9:00am

Entry Requirements

You must be at least 21 years of age to attend the course and to participate in any alcohol tasting. It is strongly recommended that you hold the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines & Spirits, CMS Level 2, or can demonstrate the equivalent level of knowledge prior to registering.

Certification

At the end of the course there is an exam that consists of 2 wines, a 50 question multiple choice paper and a 4 question short answer exam. A minimum mark of 55% in each part is required to achieve a pass. All students who pass will be issued with a certificate and will receive a lapel pin.

WSET Students Cancellations/Refunds

WSET Students will receive a full refund 30 days before the day of the course. We will charge a $150 processing fee. Making changes to your reservation within 21 days of the start day of the course will result in a fee of 25% of the cost of the course.  Students have no refunds 14 days before the day of the course or after a program has begun. If you need to be transferred to a future program, you must submit a request 14 days prior to the course and a $150 transfer fee will be collected to confirm the transfer.

Venue: The Loading Dock BOYLAN - (Free parking is available in the back and underneath the property but Uber/Lyft is always recommended) Please keep in mind that most of our classes and courses take place at the Loading Dock 1053 but, Boylan is our exclusive location for all WSET Level 3 Award in Wine Courses.
